" Savanarola " Greta Thunberg ? As charming as the New Atheists
Does " Savanarola " Greta Thunberg believe that millions of evil sinister ADULTS have the magic power to quickly DO SOMETHING about global warming ?
I can get no information about her family's religious background . She has the tone of all past TRUE BELIEVERS but all the charm of the New Atheism preachers.
As a democratic socialist I think SOMETHING can be done about global warming only if capitalist industry can be ORDERED by popular democracy to change its behavior , to cut off its FOR PROFIT claws.
I respect Tolstoy's faith in a God that can save humanity from existential despair . The Marxist awe of " eternal matter in motion " does not inspire GOODNESS or SANITY .
