Lincoln Chafee Redux - nice to have a PEACE candidate

              I am pleased with former Rhode Island governor Lincoln Chafee's views on key issues like PEACE ON EARTH, the unreported WAR ON WAR, and the over-reported WAR ON DRUGS .

            Lincoln Chafee was also ignorantly mocked for his recommendation of the metric system. For years American scientists and high school math teachers have explained the advantages of the very rational metric system. I read that  units conversion confusion was  a factor in a number of Space Age disasters .

      Just as I gave critical support to  " socialist " Democrat Bernie Sanders in 2015 ( until he endorsed  " Wall St. Hillary " )  I am impressed with this enigmatic  Rhode Island plutocrat Lincoln Chafee.

              Just please have him  avoid a  New Atheist toned war on Christmas Trees !

[As another independent socialist, I commend the independent senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, for entering the Democratic presidential race. I would prefer that he remain a pristine independent but I myself am a registered Democrat here in Rhode Island.

Come to think of it, the American plutocracy thought Franklin D. Roosevelt was a pretty good socialist  ]
