A Marxist " Society of the Godless " will never win hearts and minds in the USA
You can guess why numerous SOCIALIST parties and organizations never converge into a mass movement of the WORKING CLASS . The Last Hurrah for Marxist socialist parties was in 1917 . Soon after the triumph of the Russian Revolution the Bolsheviks declared THEIR state " officially atheist " and ever since it has only appealed to totalitarians and Marxist CULT parties - which weirdly resemble the daffy " Church of Scientology " with a permanent GREAT LEADER ( with a very capitalist bank account ) and groveling " Clears " as loyal storm troopers.
Sorry , comrades but the " Society of the Godless " will never win a popularity contest in the USA .
