At age 71 I have never met a working class person not receptive to socialist ideas -like SHARE THE WEALTH.
The wife of my friend, working as a young girl employed at " Imperial Knife " factory, witnessed a worker there IMPALED ( who later died ) by a flying piece of sharp metal. Those moribund Providence , R.I. sweatshops were never unionized . [ " At its peak, Imperial Knife employed 1,000 workers in the Jewelry District complex, 18 Imperial Place. In 1998, operations were moved to Ellenville, NY. The company – at that point called Imperial Shrade Corporation – closed in 2004. " ]
