The ABCs of socialism should suffice to condemn these trade wars of capitalist nation states. Are workers in China ( or anywhere else ) sinister competition for American workers because they too know how to make useful, desirable , nice things ?
Are wealthy exploiters in the USA on a higher ethical level than their money making counterparts in China ?
The idolatrous pride in one's own nation state undermines ordinary human decency.
