Is the American brand of " free speech " any better than Vladimir Putin's in Russia ? Why can a reader of COMMENTS at WBUR.ORG only VOTE UP on any comment here but not VOTE-DOWN ? What contempt for the PUBLIC at NPR.ORG ! THEY deserve PUBLIC funds ? It would make some sense if you REMOVED a comment after more than a few people voted it DOWN or " offensive ". Don't expect much concern for FREE SPEECH from " liberal " Democrats.
