Marchers converge on R.I. State House in walk to fight hunger
               

Why are there kind hearted marches against HUNGER and HOMELESSNESS in America every year for 40 years ? Helping the destitute and the desperate among us is not just a matter of appealing to stone hearts. The CAPITALIST SYSTEM creates these evils - along with mass unemployment and the mass murder of imperialist war. 

           Nothing can be more foolish and self-defeating than thinking that more " liberal " Democrats will solve these social problems. We need the American equivalent of the British Labor Party - with a more militant class struggle oriented constitution and plan of action.
