" Killer Pona " made credible complaints against the Rhode Island prison system

Judge dismisses prison lawsuit brought by convicted killer Pona

"Pona, 37, sued the department in federal court, alleging prison officials violated his rights by placing him in isolation for 20½ months and depriving him of access to reading materials, Muslim services, visitation and outdoor recreation. " 

The abuse of prisoners and the daily violations of their rights goes unobserved by Rhode Island " liberal " Democrats and very much under-reported by the local news media and the Providence Journal. 

In general, the American Gulag is a disgrace to the civilized world. The U.S. ruling class has no mission to reform government anywhere on the planet - not even Putin's Russia . " Democracy in America " is now just a hollow phrase- not worth defending with the lunacy of another stupid, endless war. 

The Democratic Party has completely betrayed whatever " liberalism " once inspired it . Forget about prison reform , it cannot even raise its collective voice against the barbaric death penalty. 

Pona's complaint sounds all too credible. Why should ANY prisoner be deprived of the means of spiritual salvation- broad reading materials, church services, outdoor recreation, adequate medical and dental care, access to the Internet ? A concerned citizen should be able to communicate with ANY ACI prisoner on prison conditions and his or her personal problems. 

To Pona I would type this e-mail : " Allah is great ! but Black Muslim Malcolm X connected racism with capitalism: ' Show me a capitalist and I'll show you a blood sucker '. Is there a copy of the " Autobiography of Malcolm X " in the prison library ? "«
