" Liberals " are guilty of HUBRIS when they think " conservatives " never speak the truth or lack intellectual integrity or precious " sensitivity ". The conservatives here are right in defending the NRA from buffoonish criticism as the root of evil in these school shootings.
President Trump was closer to REALITY when he pointed to a flawed mental health system ( which he , of course, would not hesitate to under-fund ).
Not seeing the bigger picture of a whole society devoted to war and police state violence , the sobbing, naive kids are also very self-centered : just make THEM safe and all will be well in their pleasant , middle class world ?
