The Democrats would sure like to give their party a badly needed facelift. Too many tired old hacks. They can change the faces of the party leadership but they can't change its guiding agenda : to serve the American plutocracy, to serve the military industrial complex... and to PRETEND that THEY represent HUMANITY in contrast to the nasty Republicans - who more boldly represent the American plutocracy, " The Arrogance of Power " , and " America First " imperialism.
As Ralph Nader observed, in the past few decades , the two party system has evolved into a ONE PARTY system . There are no principled differences between Republicans and Democrats in this sordid business of misleading the American people and supporting the irrational and unjust and UN-REFORMABLE capitalist system- with the uncritical and shameless collusion of the mainstream news media.
