There is a political crisis in the United States because "un-corrupt" but still "bought and sold" Democrats and Republicans have betrayed the working-middle class in order to make life rosier for the ONE PERCENT. Just what does "corrupt" signify in a society based on class rule?
The beloved police protect law and order mostly by protecting the PRIVATE PROPERTY of the rich. Most police brutality cases involve a petty offense against property rights by some slum dwelling prole. Homeless people are frequently abused for violating the sacrosanct property rights of slumlords. Un-corrupt lawyers, politicians, judges, prison guards are devoted to continuing this JUSTICE FOR ALL? What an obscene joke!
Headline in the Providence Journal October 14 : "Three former U.S. attorneys warn of corruption if Cianci is elected mayor." To many of the non-elite this sounds like business as usual. Cianci's real "crime" from the point of view of our local ruling class is just his very independence from THEIR two party system.
Nevertheless, I can only wish Vincent "Buddy" Cianci a moral victory rather late in life. I think he would be wiser to retire from politics. His health is indeed questionable. Still I wish him a full life-on TALK RADIO.
