You can watch INNOCENT human beings being painfully" executed " every day by LIFE in benign hospitals . STATE execution is nothing more than a atavistic ritual exercising the power of the STATE - actually its ruling class - over decidedly unprivileged prisoners.
Are not all mortals - guilty or innocent - under a death sentence ?
