One way to honor Black History is to reflect on the late speeches of Malcolm X before he was assassinated ( with FBI collusion ? ) in 1965 . Malcolm X made a connection between RACISM and American capitalism, between RACISM and American imperialism. My favorite Malcolm X quote : " Show me a capitalist and I will show you a blood sucker " . Early in his ministry Dr. Martin Luther King, in a letter to his wife , said that he was leaning toward some form of Christian socialism. But there is no Christian socialist agenda in today 's WOKE Democratic Party. Both Martin Luther King and Malcolm X were cynical of the " liberal " Democratic Party. And in the glorious past of the ORGANIZED LABOR MOVEMENT so were militant unionized workers. In fact, the mighty Teamsters triumphed in their CLASS war led by the famous Trotskyist Farrell Dobbs . My democratic socialist thoughts on this Black History Month .
