Way back in September 1963 the news reported that the Italian immigrant Carmine drowned himself off Narragansett Pier , despondent over a failed pizzeria there and failing health at the age of 63. Recall that MEDICARE did not pass until 1965 , a year of LBJ'S " Great Society ". I found Carmine 's grave site at Section 30 , number 366 . Buried with him is his wife " Lina " .
