The homeless problem will never be solved without stepping on the toes of the OWNING class in " OUR democracy "

This video FIVE YEARS AGO ! Have ANY homeless people in Rhode Island been relieved of the miserable state of homelessness because of Congressman Langevin 's " Remarks on Helping Rhode Island's Homeless Individuals " ? Today in mid February 2023 the homeless problem is mentioned every day on local talk radio. But no " progressive " Democrat sees it as fundamentally a problem of the irrational and unjust capitalist system . The " progressive " party hired bureaucrats foolishly imagine that it is all just an administrative problem. Just get a competent administrator to be Rhode Island Housing CZAR ? The goal is to ameliorate the problem within the socio-economic framework of capitalism. And hopefully make the homeless people LESS VISIBLE . Of course the DEAD homeless do not present a visibility scandal . As a long time independent democratic socialist I would not even talk about the homeless problem with no reference to sacrosanct landlord-capitalist PRIVATE PROPERTY . The ROOT of the evil ! Who really thinks the homeless problem in Rhode Island or in any other state of the United States can be solved without stepping on the toes of the OWNING class, the ruling class in " OUR democracy " ? Won't newspapers like The Providence Journal even recall what still relevant articles were published on the homeless crisis five, ten, 20 years ago ? Or even way back in the 1980s at the beginning of the Reagan presidency when we heard that it is " morning in America " ?
