I too loved this scene from the eerie movie " Peggy Sue Got Married " . I did study Algebra and then a few years later Elementary Calculus. It all comes together in Elementary High School Physics. You do need higher math-at least First Year Algebra - if you care to UNDERSTAND the natural world . Like E=MC ( squared ) . Like F=MA .
