Tune in to public opinion on war in the Ukraine
Tara, it was Wilsonian blather that got us into World War I , " the war to make the world safe for democracy ". In fact , it made the world a bigger oyster for the imperialist powers of Europe and for the ascendant imperialism of the USA. Talk to working class CHRISTIAN Americans about defending " OUR democracy " , our ballyhooed " FREEDOM ". For many years now these fatuous patriotic phrases have had a hollow ring .
