His brothers and sisters and extended family remember those happy Thanksgiving , Christmas, New Year's Day visits to Rick's house in Foster. The nearby woods did seem haunted . Foster , Rhode Island is a rural town frozen in time. Rick Ruggieri served one term on the Town Council as a Foster Democrat. The family home there is now just a memory .
