An elderly friend who lost his car must now take the RIPTA bus. In Kennedy Plaza, he complains , he must stand some distance away - even on cold windy rainy days - from those protecting shelters . He was always very unpleasantly allergic to cigarette smoke.
A regular RIPTA rider myself , I have often experienced this " cigarette bum " rudeness. Standing in a nearly pure white cloud of vaporized NICOTINE is also rather unpleasant.

But visible signs tell RIPTA riders : NO SMOKING .
Where is responsible RIPTA management here ?
