A long time ago when I was a high school student and we learning about the roots of the Cold War with Russia, an introduction to Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto explained that his pernicious communism was alien to Americans because WE have such a SOLID , HAPPY , COMFORTABLE, OPTIMISTIC MIDDLE CLASS. Sounds like the America of April 2022 ?
