Allan Fung , Rhode Island Republican candidate for Congress , is probably right about being able to attract both Rhode Island's Donald Trump supporters and disappointed Joe Biden voters.

I live in the Knightsville section of Cranston, Rhode Island. The former mayor , Republican Allan Fung, a Chinese American . My brother, Michael , tells me that he remembers when young Allan Fung worked in the family's Chinese restaurant. Alan graduated from the esteemed Classical High School in Providence. Although a registered Democrat - actually an independent democratic socialist - I had no problem voting for Fung a couple of times in the past for the very simple reason that nobody in the neighborhood had anything bad to say about him ( or was I seduced by a Fung Spaghetti Dinner at Randall Manor ? ). Allan Fung is probably right about being able to attract both Rhode Island's Donald Trump supporters and disappointed Joe Biden voters. I never get too ideological about LOCAL politics . Too many family and friends " connected " in Little Rhody . Also the Democratic Party in Rhode Island has NO effective competition - even ON THE RIGHT that would be therapeutic. STALINISM is not a good model for state and city government in beautiful ( it can be ! ) Rhode Island. People with COMMON SENSE here need an anti-dote to daffy WOKE agendas.
