You don't have to be expert in world economy ( Marxist or " free trader " ) to see the absurdity of trade wars. Are people in Russia and China who make wonderful things and want to sell them on the world market more villainous than American industrialists with the same idea ?
Rational human beings cannot organize the world economy on a rational plan ? Recall that dramatic " Earth Rise " from space picture in 1968 ? Are any nation state boundaries visible here ? Is the Mexican -American border eternal -like the Monroe Doctrine and the American Constitution ? Must we here in Little Rhode Island forever have to cross state boundaries to get cheaper beer ?
