Are scientists Neil De Grasse Tyson and Lawrence Krauss champions of social justice ? A while back Tyson mocked the Catholic ritual of Holy Communion. Is that any way to win over to " progressive " thinking millions of working class Catholics ?
Lawrence Krauss ' " materialist " philosophy ( insolent atheism ?)- if allegations are half-true - leaves him clueless about proper behavior around women. A long time ago socialists were wise to sexism and the double exploitation of women.
To be sure, a self-evident SUPERCILIOUS attitude toward believing Catholics, Protestants, Muslims is no way to attract these people to the non-theistic sanity of socialism.
To be sure , Orthodox Jews make better socialists than secular Zionists . Most of the New Atheists have no quarrel with Zionist Apartheid Israel- while embracing a vile Islamophobia.
