What would be the point of this interference ? Post-communist Russia prefers Republicans to Democrats in contrast to the New Deal years when " revolutionary ", " subversive " Moscow ordered American Communist Party members to support Franklin D. Roosevelt directly or indirectly ( by focusing criticism on " fascist " Republicans ) .
But what is wrong with ANY nation in the world having a preference in American presidential elections ? We want FREE SPEECH and FREE THOUGHT to cross nation-state boundaries.
The Israel lobby does not interfere in our presidential elections ? In the early 70s the CIA was disinterested in the election of Marxist Salvadore Allende in Chile ?
Today " democracy " is profoundly respected in the USA in contrast to Putin's Russia ?
If DEMOCRACY was thriving in the United States in 2016, why the popularity of " socialist " Democrat Bernie Sanders ? Why the popularity of right wing populist Donald Trump ?
Should young Americans die by the thousands in World War III over effete Wilsonian blather ?
POLICE STATE America is a long way from popular democracy !
