The history of the Catholic Church is unpleasant reading even for" the faithful " wanting to give it the benefit of the doubt. Reading reviews of Mr. Kertzer's book I can see quite clearly an anti-Catholic agenda : so the Church has made a MAJOR CONTRIBUTION to modern anti-Semitism ? Is that fair and objective scholarship ? The daily news in recent years suggests that a major contribution to modern anti-Semitism is Zionist Israel itself.
