Library book titled " A Field Guide to the Invisible " cites RADON danger in Rhode Island ( on page 136 )

Although this book, " A Field Guide to the Invisible " by Wayne Biddle -which I just checked out from the Providence Public Library was published in 1998 , I doubt if the examined threats to public health have just gone away in April 2022. But this one hits home :
Page 136 : [" In Maine and Rhode Island the average RADON concentration in private well water exceeds 6,000 picocuries per liter., contributing to indoor pollution through aeration in showers, toilets, and washers. Average indoor exposures in the United States is probably 1 to 2 picocuries . " ]
