@roy jacobs The hostility of American imperialism plays no small role in the Venezuelan economic crisis. The " socialists " there are just not SOCIALIST enough. A real socialist revolution demands that the working class seize control of capitalist industry , of all means of production ,of the nation's natural resources. Above all , replace the police and the military with loyal revolutionaries. Read John Reed's " Ten Days That Shook the World " about the triumphant 1917 Russian Revolution . And, of course, confiscate ALL the gold and cash in the banking system of the capitalist ruling class.
