Big Bang dogmatism - from physics to metaphysics

There are numerous great scientists -like Albert Einstein - who have not confused science with GOD. In MY universe there is room for both FAITH and SCIENCE.

Don't exhaust your spiritual instincts exploring those arid " quantum fields " .

Oddly enough , another great physicist , Fred Hoyle who ironically NAMED the Big Bang , perhaps an atheist himself , was skeptical about these Big Bang theories. To Hoyle physics here was beginning to sound like theological metaphysics: abstract mathematics does not necessarily lead to SCIENTIFIC, verifiable truth . Also did advanced mathematics exist before the Big Bang, before Creation ? If so , then where else except in the Mind of God ?

[  " The cosmologist Sir Fred Hoyle simply felt that an explosion was an undignified way for the world to begin, rather like 'a party girl jumping out of a cake ' .In a BBC interview in the 1950s, Hoyle sardonically referred to the hypothesized origin as “the big bang.” The term stuck.  " ]

Whatever , the last time I checked the much maligned Catholic Church - also the Rock of Western Civilization - has no quarrel with the sound -and useful - knowledge of modern science , with Darwin's evolution or the Big Bang ( first theorized by a Belgian priest, Georges Le Maitre ) .

It would be suicidal for ANY socialist movement to try to convince religious humanity that the ultimate reality is QUANTUM FOAM . At least locate Botticelli's Venus , by another name , The Holy Mother , somewhere in there.

Any future " socialist " government that arrogantly claims its state " officially atheist " can only be an ally of the Prince of Darkness.
