For years right wing talk radio ( I listen to " Red Eye " only for instruction and edification -and moral guidance ) has been giving cranky obtuse explanations why SOCIALISM " can't work " and why CAPITALISM is real, rational , and forever.
But , of course, no doubt slavery WORKED for the ancient slave master of Egypt, Greece, Rome and the Southern slave masters of our Old South.
Ask WORKING CLASS people how well American capitalism works for them and how well " OUR democracy ".
How soon will it take for the " liberal " New York Times to make SOCIALISM a THOUGHT CRIME ?
It should be easy enough . The American ruling class has cultivated the most servile, docile , intellectual class in human history. Weekly lectures against the EVIL of SOCIALISM are offered on every college campus here in Rhode Island.

Gathering signatures to get a socialist third party on the ballot here in Rhode Island( 1976 ) an old friend of mine ( still a socialist ) and I were given a stern lecture from a passing by pillar of the community : " MARXISM IS A FALSE IDEOLOGY ! " .
But why then does this disgraced Marxism have to be REFUTED 24 hours a day in the mainstream news media ? Even Astrology gets more respect and more space in the newspapers.
Still there is the simple TRUTH and 2+2 still = 4 . Whatever Big Brother says !
