For BRAINS I was more impressed by a condensed biography of Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes - branded a RADICAL in his day for defense of civil liberties- like FREE SPEECH.
Holmes observed that the American constitution did not authorize any particular economic system. Influenced by Darwinism in a century of CHANGE and PROGRESS, Judge Holmes did not want to see the American Constitution become a dried up fossil interpreted by fossilized legal minds.
No American judge like Oliver Wendell Holmes is around today.
