The Democratic Party's war on religion is a major force for alienation in American society. What little people experience of human " community " is often just CHURCH. There is a dreary lack of old fashioned LOVE THE NEIGHBOR in " identity politics " and " political correctness ". This is also true of the pseudo-Left, obnoxious " New Atheism ".
