Thinking as a longtime independent democratic socialist, I view the persecution-prosecution circus trial of former president Donald Trump as confirmation of Marxist-Leninist " dogma " ( ? ) on THE LAW and on THE STATE. THE LAW is never above the more vulgar interests of the capitalist ruling class. In " OUR democracy " the " Just Judges " are owned by either or both the Democratic and Republican parties. THE STATE , in the final analysis , is a vast bureaucratic organization devoted to checking the political instincts of the working class. Also, THE STATE in a severe social crisis becomes an instrument of the self-conscious oppressing and terrorizing working class smoldering with anger . Such CLASS STRUGGLE " logic " led to the success of Vladimir Lenin's Bolshevik Party in 1917. The " Russian Revolution " was indeed " Ten Days That Shook The World " ( the title of the American journalist John Reed's classic ). Of course ,obtuse petty bourgeois intellectuals- and a petty bourgeois TALK RADIO celebs - think that THEIR capitalist system is eternal and eternally right.
