As an independent democratic socialist I can give only very critical " critical support " to any " creeping socialism " in the Democratic Party. If Sanders had real political integrity - the rebel soul of a Eugene V. Debs - he would break with this ruling class Democratic Party - which presently is as stable as U-235 nucleus - and use his revived moral authority to call for an independent American Labor Party .
The only " socialist " competition on the Left presently are sectarian Marxist-Leninist-Trotskyist parties - which reek of neo- Stalinism . They are ALL led by permanent GREAT LEADERS with a pathetic following of lost souls much like the " Clears " in the daffy Church of Scientology. DEMOCRATIC socialism does not have a chance in any self-appointed VANGUARD PARTY . TOTALITARIANISM -made more horrible by " militant atheism " and arrogant Christianity bashing - here is waiting in the wings. A New World Order right out of Dostoevsky's " The Possessed ".
The present Democratic Party makes " The Donald " LOOK like the lesser evil ! And so the New Hampshire governor's prediction : just possible - a Trump landslide in 2020 ?
