West Warwick priest controversy
I learned from a" conservative " Catholic relative that this West Warwick priest leans toward pre-Vatican II Catholicism with its venerable, ancient mystique and awesome " Rock of Peter " gravitas . Such a priest should not be public excoriated or " crucified " for simple TRUTH speaking . The good Bishop Tobin was somewhat ambiguous in defending him ( as to be expected in an atmosphere of Catholic Church bashing political correctness.
The priest was , in fact, a champion of exposing heinous child sexual abuse scandals . God bless him !

2 days ago - A West Warwick parish priest said he could have expressed himself more clearly when he said in a television interview that unlike abortion, “pedophilia doesn’t kill anyone.”
