Note how gay men ( or decidedly " effeminate " males ) are getting preferential treatment for prestigious news media jobs .
The real Moral Majority in the United States is not nearly as besotted with " identity politics " melodrama as the liberal zealots in the Democratic Party. The Culture of Narcissism goes way beyond what was always there in Christianity : compassion and kindness for the " different" one , the archetype " stranger ". That , after all, is the unspoken goal of all daffy " identity politics " : PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT . I commend Rush Limbaugh for simple respect for TRUTH . And I am a democratic socialist - not a Trump fan wearing a MAGA hat. Our country's Christian Tradition can only be mocked so far . As conservative Judge Bork wrote : we are indeed " Slouching Toward Gomorrah " . The Democratic Party now reeks of moral nihilism and the hateful New Atheism. That is not the stuff of any future LANDSLIDE recovery of political power. Trump could be - amazing to think -THE lesser evil in the 2020 presidential election.
