I live in Providence, Rhode Island where the control of the Democrat Party can only be likened to Stalinism . This is a dreary decaying ONE PARTY state ! Vicious " identity politics " and vacuous " political correctness " have defined RIGHT behavior for decades now . It does seem that a New Atheist inspired moral elite has created a reign of terror over human religious instincts. They define " hate speech " from the lofty heights of College Hill where reigns Brown University and its gang of ILLIBERAL LIBERAL professors and Democrat Party hacks .
In just the past few weeks Saint Paul Church in Cranston has had it stained glass windows smashed. A Christopher Columbus statue in Elmwood section of Providence has been vandalized ; red paint poured over it with righteous words : " Say No to Genocide ". The mayor of Providence and a number of local politicians seem to wink at this justified protest: Columbus as the root of all EVIL !
What I see as an ON THE LEFT independent, principled democratic socialist is the beginning of a war on Western Christian Civilization . Study history : militant atheism invariably leads to moral insanity.
The sectarian Marxist parties fail to see the obvious : the biggest mistake of the old Soviet Union was to declare itself from the beginning " officially atheist " . THE HORROR soon followed.
I do think that the American ruling class - if not yet their government - has made itself OFFICIALLY ATHEIST . No other explanation for the ludicrous annual " war on Christmas ".
Last time I checked the USA was a mostly Christian country !
