Numerous voices on the Left - no doubt honest in their socialism or " progressive " politics - are aware of the dark sinister history of the SEP as a wretched David North personality cult . These self-proclaimed" Fourth International " Trotskyists are not " well liked " on the socialist Left . Like worn out Willy Loman in Arthur Miller's " Death of a Salesman " it is just as important in the socialist movement to be " well liked " . Being hated is the pits .
Just proclaiming themselves THE vanguard party is insufferable hubris after a century of stagnation . Not all the fault of capitalist, imperialist REACTION. It helps to have real MASS APPEAL and a minimum of charming " friendly persuasion ". No surprise : I AM BANNED ON THE WORLD SOCIALIST WEB SITE . So much for their joining Chris Hedges in a FREE SPEECH on the Internet crusade.
