Is mental illness a hate crime ? Anti-Semitism in Harlem or just hopeless exploitation and oppression ?

             The man's family says he has a history of neglected mental illness. Is mental illness a hate crime ?    In the USA today of decaying capitalism  mental illness is far more of an epidemic than anti-Semitism , especially in the big city hells .

                  But the main stream news media simply must promote its corrupt narratives: like President Donald Trump is the root of all evil in " OUR democracy ". 

                 I speak as a democratic socialist who voted for  Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Rhode Island Presidential Primary - with no regrets .

HATRED does not explain " hate crime " . What explains HATE ? ANY " professional " journalists today introduced to the ABCs of sociology ?

[Thomas' family said in a statement Sunday night that Thomas has "a long history of mental illness and hospitalizations" and that his attorney, Michael H. Sussman, had been instructed to seek "immediate mental health evaluation of Grafton."

The family said Thomas has "no known history of anti-Semitism" and was not a member of any hate groups.

"We express our deepest concern and prayers for those injured physically and otherwise deeply affected by the events of Saturday night and our family's earnest yearning for their well being," the family said.]
