PANIC attack on Boston subway

My friend Dave lives in Arlington, Mass, public housing . Having no car , elderly in poor health, he described a recent T nightmare over the phone. He always had high anxiety claustrophobia . So he had a panic attack when the driver suddenly stopped without explanation and left the passengers seemingly LOCKED INSIDE. For a long ten minutes Dave was banging on the closed windows and looking for a way out. When the T-driver , a young Black man , returned , he was nearly apoplectic with rage . Are not T-Subway drivers well instructed on leaving the bus with passengers aboard ?
