There is a sophisticated explanation for all this WOKE nonsense

As a longtime independent democratic socialist I can only give moral support to SANE Americans checking the daffy WOKE transgender agenda. There is a sophisticated, quite left wing explanation for the WOKE nonsense in the " progressive " Democratic Party. Karl Marx in a pithy statement said long ago that the " RULING IDEAS ARE THE IDEAS OF THE RULING CLASS " Frightened by Marxian CLASS STRUGGLE themes, the more " liberal " ideologists of the American plutocracy - with inspiration and support from elite Ivy League schools - have virtually INVENTED " identity politics " over the past three decades. This way they create an image of themselves as being oh-so-sensitive to the EMOTIONAL needs of clinically " disturbed " individuals , and thereby create a sentimental circus distraction from their daily PROFIT SYSTEM endeavors . And the exploited and oppressed BLUE COLLAR workers - not sold on WOKE nonsense - can seem to be intellectually and morally backward souls -even downright hateful. THEY just belong in the hateful Trump camp ! In no way do the WOKES have anything resembling a SOCIALIST agenda - which connects ALL social justice issues to CAPITALIST oppression not to RACISM , SEXISM and HOMOPHOBIA disconnected from THE SYSTEM . It it easier for elite " liberals " to slobber over LGBTQ " victims " ( and do nothing for them as members of the WORKING CLASS ) . DNC " identity politics " is really quite vacuous - unless the WOKE leaders in the Democratic Party ( many of them secular , openly anti-Christian , ZIONIST Jews ) demand a permanent AFFIRMATIVE ACTION plan for all designated victims of racism, sexism . homophobia . Then we will see that " OUR democracy " now has nothing to do with the once fundamental principle of MAJORITY RULE. The unspoken assumption is that blue collar " deplorables " are the forever bigoted villains in " OUR democracy ".- and must daily be shamed and put in their place. And the enlightened capitalist rulers are the enlightened guardian angels of all the super-vulnerable , always lovable , designated WOKE victims . Could these numerous ( ? ) victims ever constitute a New Democratic Party majority ?
