Do the capitalists see themselves as exploiters ?

Ever since the Industrial Revolution capitalism has been all about the exploitation and oppression of the working class. Karl Marx ,applying a scientific method of investigation, analyzed the nature of this exploitation in " DAS KAPITAL ". He made it clear that WAGE SLAVERY was only disguised by the FREE EXCHANGE of commodities - LABOR being FOR SALE everywhere after the collapse of feudalism.. The investment capitalist sees his stock certificates grow exponentially in value year after year -with some alarming or disappointing fluctuations in the Stock Market. Often he hardly knows what some capitalist enterprise is all about , what it is like to WORK for that corporation. Rarely does his social conscience ever bother him. On the contrary, he is one of the truly PRODUCTIVE citizens. He and his class are mostly kind hearted philanthropists who CREATE jobs . Where would the working class be without them ? Indeed it is downright scandalous to them that there should be any conflict between LABOR and CAPITAL .
