As an independent democratic socialist - not possessed by anti-Trump hatred- I can only agree with Don Hausman of Warwick here ( October 4 letter to the editor ) .
For more than three years the " progressive " Democrats - with the mainstream news media paying no attention to this - have been promoting what was once viewed as right wing Cold War militarism . How can any old fashioned LIBERAL Democrat countenance the HATE RUSSIA , New McCarthyism ?
Even the spurious Ukraine controversy - coming right after the Kafkaesque Mueller Russia investigation- is all about Russia as our ruling class's designated enemy .
Those professional Democrats who babble about Trump's " crime " and " treason " do so with the meretricious legal skills of Harvard Law School graduate sophists who disgrace the so called " Socratic method " .
