It does seem that the American ruling class is multiplying its " rotten enemy " list . But the OLD ENEMY remains . I just read :

Where does any honest working class socialist even begin to criticize this humbug case for exploiting oppressing capitalism and bloody imperialism ? For decades democratic socialists ( Trotskyists ) have explained the evil phenomenon of " Stalinism " -without forgetting the ABCs of Marxism.
Whatever its defects any " socialist " ( calling itself ) regime in the world that has come to power anywhere in the world - in the past century- has come to power after a long and horrible experience with " benevolent " capitalism and arrogant imperialism. Nowhere will the world plutocracy tolerate a peaceful " socialist " experiment : Let's just see if it can work ? No, they try to sabotage EVERY " experiment " with socialism .
We KNOW capitalism does not work for US , not for the working class. So is this the best THE COSMOS has to offer the human race - an eternal American Century ? How many trillionaires will we extol and celebrate in the year 2099 ?
The pro-capitalist intellectuals would, if they could, try to get SOCIALISM - the IDEA alone - BANNED IN BOSTON.
One day you might try to GOOGLE the World Socialist Web Site. And get a very Orwellian " 1984 " surprise.
Too bad Leon Trotsky is not around to demolish this reactionary intellectual Newt Gingrich in a revised edition of " In Defense of Marxism ".
If " socialism " is so wrongheaded , why must these bully, right wing, talk- radio hosts " refute " it every hour of the day ? Do Astronomers so fear the astrologists ?
What if the SMARTEST people around are rather orthodox Marxists ? The FORCE be with them !
