Providence's vandalized Columbus statue getting cleaned up

This brainless hostility to LIFELESS statues is a product of decades of vicious " identity politics " which can only serve the political agendas of ILLIBERAL LIBERAL Democrats who prefer to forget what the last two centuries of American capitalism and imperialism have done to the impoverished, oppressed , exploited people of ALL races and ethnic groups. 

There are still unmolested numerous statues of famous " robber barons " all over the United States. Only historical and political illiteracy would promote mindless vandalism on long standing public monuments. 

Have good Christians in Rome defaced Nero statues ? Where does it end ? JUST WHO are this moral elite that decides 
Christopher Columbus was a rival of Hitler in politically incorrect hatred and villainy ? 

Should ancient LATIN words be purged from our language because of Caesar's genocide in Gall ? What we need is greater UNDERSTANDING of human history not sanctimonious -and philistine - moralizing. 

Focus on the PRESENT economic and social order of global capitalism. The LIBERAL Democrats have no quarrel with this nightmare. 

I have just read an essay by Gore Vidal on Abraham Lincoln . It seems that Lincoln wanted the freed black slaves to recolonize Africa. His main passion during the Civil was saving the union - as much as he abhorred black slavery. 

In the future ONLY certified , politically correct saints can have statues and monuments not assaulted by angry mobs ?
