Providence teachers afraid to hug students under new law

The New Puritanism would deprive children of what they need most- maternal and paternal quality affection. They experimented years ago with TOUCH DEPRIVED monkeys. They " failed to thrive " ; some died or became neurotic. 

The education bureaucrats , as usual, are out of touch with seminal thinkers like Darwin, Freud- even Alfred Kinsey ( of the famed Kinsey Report ) . 

In the 1980s school kids were subjected to ludicrous lectures on " good touches " and " bad touches ". I will bet that today that a number of them are leading the charge in this sexual McCarthyism. 

For women with a neurotic phobia of " bad touches " there is a safe place for them in inter-galactic space with temperature near absolute zero and the darkness just as absolute- except for the cry of the Big Bang - at the birth of the universe. 

Most normal women can still identify with the TOUCH-ME-NESS of newborn babies. Hugs here are not obscene ! 
As for adolescents Wilhelm Reich - a pivotal figure in the 60s-70s Sexual Revolution - wrote about and championed " the sexual rights of adolescents. 

The anarchist and feminist Emma Goldman argued for the decriminalization of prostitution. 

Curiously there is an odious " Anti-Sex League " in George Orwell 's " 1984 " . Are we going in that direction ? A long way from 
" The Sensuous Woman " of the Age of Aquarius . 

At least on the radio a lusty female voice informs men : " Men, YOU WILL BE BIGGER ! " ( but " touch me not " ? ).
