Hurricane Milton's magnitude brings veteran meteorologist to tears

The American capitalist system, inseparable from super-expensive American imperialism and Israeli- Zionism, can hardly cope with more and more numerous ( rationally connected to global warming ) natural disasters. How do the Pentagon militarists manage to persuade successive presidents, Democrat or Republican , that nuclear war is not only a viable option but also WINNABLE ? Also, wicked inflation can be checked overnight ( and government FUNDS released for saner causes ) by shutting down the whole CRAZY military-industrial complex. I suspect many WORKING CLASS Americans -mostly working class CHRISTIAN Americans - would vote NO to nuclear World War III with Islamic Iran , POST-COMMUNIST Russia, " communist " ( ? ) China , " communist " ( ? ) North Korea and vote YES to shutting down the odious military-industrial complex in " OUR democracy " . How about a national referendum on this issue ? My perspective here is that of a longtime , independent , democratic socialist.
