Swan on our lake stranded?

Thinking the swan was injured I observed it for several minutes. Swan " friends " came around to coax it back into the lake across from Randall Manor apartments. Then I sent a text message with video to Cranston Animal Rescue . The office is closed after 5 PM . But the next morning there was no sighting of the possibly injured swan . The swan and its companions were gone. They are beautiful creatures protected by law.
