As a longtime democratic socialist I see old Karl Marx's writing very perceptive relating to the present crisis in the American TWO PARTY SYSTEM. There is clearly an ongoing BRAWL ( sometimes physical as on the Jan.6th day of infamy ) within the American ruling class. What should be clear to any self-identifying SOCIALIST is that THE LAW ( and therefore the JUST JUDGES ) in American capitalist society is never above the politics of our ruling class. Even of a ruling class in turmoil . All those vast wall to wall law book collections of any Harvard Law School professor are essentially cogitations of ruling class consciousness- infinitely out of touch with the language , feelings , and moral perceptions of the common people. On one issue , for example , none of our JUST JUDGES can see that the homeless crisis in the United States ( including the homeless migrant , " illegal alien " crisis ) is on collision course with landlord-capitalist PRIVATE PROPERTY rights.
