Isaac Deutscher Speaks! (English) Berkeley Teach-In against the Vietnam ...

Many years later Isaac Deutscher seems like a wise old Marxist philosopher . I did read his book titled " Marxism in Our Time " . Sadly the New Left did not heed Isaac Deutscher's warnings and it fell apart .Some New Leftists wandered into individual terrorism - and even today in 2022 most "Marxist " parties have degenerated into grotesque personality cults completely out of touch with the working class. I myself remain an independent democratic socialist appalled that the generic Left now shows disdain for the FREE SPEECH ,FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization. And the WOKE Democratic Party - far from socialism - sounds and acts downright STALINIST ! Can there be a new New Left revival ?
