Is not American capitalism objectively insane ?
Is there ANY violently mentally ill person in " OUR democracy " in the USA who does not " fall through the cracks " ? The oh-so- progressive DEINSTITUTIONALIZATION of the mentally ill decades ago was a crime against humanity . BOOKS have been written about this by competent psychiatrists with a still ALIVE social conscience.
In general, American psychiatry has no quarrel with the INSANE SOCIETY as Erich Fromm pointed out in his still relevant book " The Sane Society " ( circa 1955 ) . Cannot a society itself be sick ? Is not American capitalism objectively insane ( from the perspective of rational morality and ethics ) ?
